VIAGRA CONNECT® made available nationwide

16/04/18

Pfizer Ltd, Walton Oaks, UK – 16 April 2018 – From today, VIAGRA CONNECT is being made available to purchase from pharmacies across the country. This means that in addition to Boots, VIAGRA CONNECT will become available for men to buy from independent community pharmacies, major pharmacy retailers such as Lloyds Pharmacy, Well Pharmacy, Rowlands and Superdrug, and supermarket pharmacies such as Asda, Morrisons, and Tesco.

Commenting on this nationwide roll-out, Kristie Sourial MRPharmS, Medical Manager, Pfizer said:

“In the first two weeks of VIAGRA CONNECT being available, we’ve already seen that many men with the symptoms of erectile dysfunction are taking the step to seek help from a pharmacist, and we’re excited to expand availability into more pharmacies to support men across the nation. Erectile problems affect up to 21% of men – equivalent to 4.3 million men in the UK1,  and the roll-out of VIAGRA CONNECT to pharmacies across the country provides many more convenient points of access, both in-store and online, for men to get help and obtain treatment.”

In support of this nationwide roll-out, Pfizer has launched a dedicated consumer website – www.viagraconnect.co.uk – where men and partners affected can find out more information about the condition, get tips and advice on discussing erectile dysfunction together, and learn more about what to expect when purchasing VIAGRA CONNECT from a pharmacist.

VIAGRA CONNECT has an RRP of £19.99 for a 4-tablet pack / £34.99 for an 8-tablet pack, including VAT.

About VIAGRA CONNECT
VIAGRA CONNECT is indicated in adult men with erectile dysfunction (ED), which is the inability to achieve or maintain a penile erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. VIAGRA CONNECT contains the active ingredient sildenafil, which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. It works for men with ED by helping to relax the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis when sexually stimulated.

VIAGRA CONNECT is contraindicated in the following2:

    • whose doctor has advised that they are not fit enough for any physical and/or sexual activity
