Business Approaches for Clinical Improvement

The Business Approaches for Clinical Improvement (BACI) programme is a series of modules that has been developed by Pfizer as a Medical and Educational Goods and Service (MEGS). The programme has been designed to help NHS organisations to understand, promote and assess their service.

 

The modules are delivered by Pfizer Account Managers at half day workshops.

The programme is made up of 5 modules that can be delivered separately:

  • Creating an effective business case - The aim of this workshop is to provide healthcare organisations with tools and techniques to develop an effective business case, ensuring they are developed with an understanding of the impact of NHS policy and practice.
  • Prepare for service assessment - The aim of this workshop is to support healthcare organisations to clarify the rationale for service assessment and facilitate the local evaluation of an existing service.
  • Promote my Service - The aim of this workshop is to support healthcare organisations understanding of the stages involved in developing a promotional campaign for a service.
  • Engaging stakeholders to maximise project success - The aim of this workshop is to support healthcare organisations in improving the effectiveness of project delivery and encourage effective stakeholder management.
  • Improve my Service - The aim of this workshop is to support healthcare organisations to identify areas for improvements in existing services.
