- This workshop is suitable for healthcare professionals and managers working in a secondary care setting.


- Delegates will understand Practice Based Commissioning (PBC) is and how it might impact on the way patient care services are delivered in secondary care. They will look at how PBC might be used locally and how a specific local service could be redesigned in order to deliver a more patient focussed, efficient and/or cost effective service to patients in their local area.


- Workshop attendance will benefit the NHS by driving a greater understanding of the opportunities to improve patient care through PBC.
