TherapeuticsPLUS is a free non-promotional medical/educational service which aims to improve patient care through providing online clinical education in a number of therapeutic areas. The module material is targeted at non-medical prescribers (e.g. Nurses, Pharmacists and Physiotherapists etc) but will be relevant and of value to all healthcare professionals with an interest in the areas covered. After completion of each module the user can attempt an online multiple choice test which if successful allows them to print a certificate for their CPD portfolio.
This online training programme has been developed and funded by Pfizer in partnership with the journal Prescriber. All the educational material is written independent of Pfizer by Prescriber and then accredited by a University and the Association for Nurse Prescribing (ANP). The ANP has accredited each module as providing between 3-5hours of CPD.
TherapeuticsPLUS hosts an increasing number of modules covering different therapy areas and new modules are planned for release over the coming months.
