H.E.A.R.T UK - the Cholesterol Charity - supports those at risk of premature cardiovascular disease (CVD) due to raised cholesterol, especially those with inherited high cholesterol. The charity provides information to patients and their families, campaigns for better detection of CVD risk factors and supports research and health professional training. Through these types of activities, H.E.A.R.T UK strives to prevent premature deaths associated with high cholesterol and CVD.
Pfizer has supported and worked with H.E.A.R.T UK on a range of projects including the ‘National Picture’ report, the H.E.A.R.T UK Annual Professional Conference and the ChoLESSterol Campaign.
