The Cardiomyopathy Association (CMA) is a registered charity that helps people and their families affected by the heart muscle condition cardiomyopathy by providing support and easy-to-understand information on the different types of cardiomyopathy.
 
The Cardiomyopathy Association provided the income management service to the 'Flight for Hearts' project, which was led by Prof. Nigel Wheeldon at the Northern General Hospital. The project sought to raise awareness of inherited cardiovascular disease and also involved two other patient groups working in the area of inherited heart disorders, CRY &  SADS UK.
