Cancerbackup is the UK's leading cancer information charity specialising in providing up-to-date independent information, practical advice and support to anyone affected by cancer - patients (both children and adults) their families, friends and carers.
Pfizer's support includes donations towards the Britain Against Cancer Conference, an all party parliamentary group (APPG) event that enables patient organisations working in cancer to participate in a range of workshops as well as speak directly to the APPG and health spokespeople from the main political parties. Other projects include an advocacy support programme and the production of patient information for people with bowel cancer.
