Beating Bowel Cancer works to save lives by raising awareness of symptoms, promoting early diagnosis and helping to improve access to treatment for people affected by this cancer.
Pfizer provided support for the charity’s press office function which raises public awareness of colo-rectal (bowel) cancer. We also helped to fund the printing and mailing of the supporters' newsletter and we provided support for the charity’s annual Patient Voices forum for bowel cancer patients.
Pfizer also funded five members of its staff to enter 10km race for the charity and sponsored the charity’s ‘Rear of the Year 2007’ award.
