Trading Workplaces
















Trading Workplaces is an innovative Pfizer scheme, whereby our customers and nominated Pfizer staff take part in a time-limited, two-way secondment between their two organisations.

The scheme fosters a relationship of mutual benefit – enabling appropriate Pfizer customers to work on defined Pfizer projects and, in return, appropriate Pfizer team members to work on defined customer projects. Both customer and Pfizer secondees will have the opportunity to experience a different culture and working processes in a leading organisation.

This secondment scheme provides a unique opportunity for Pfizer customers to further develop commercial business skills and exercise fresh thinking in a new environment. In turn, Pfizer will be able to gain a deeper level of insight into the needs, decision-making processes and working practices of colleagues within our customer organisations. As the scheme is project-based, there will be clear, achievable objectives, and measurable outcomes and benefits for both parties and organisations.


Who is eligible to apply for the scheme?



The criteria for selecting applicants to take part in the scheme include the following:


Customers:

  • Customers needing to build business and commercial skills in their organisational setting.
  • Open to all Pfizer's customers, across all 4 home nations, including employees from the NHS (either Director level or one level below), patient groups or charities, the Department of Health, and other healthcare stakeholder bodies.
  • Customers with the relevant skill set to match an available Pfizer project submitted to the scheme.


Pfizer colleagues:

  • Open to all colleagues, where it fits their personal development plan.
  • High performers within within Pfizer's performance management scheme.
  • Have the relevant skill set to match an available customer project submitted to the scheme.
