Granta Park, set in the countryside south of Cambridge, is the leading research park in the Cambridge sub-region and places all of Pfizer’s global drug delivery device expertise under one roof. The cutting-edge site comes complete with purpose-built labs, engineering facilities and plenty of office space. The building is a celebration of the success of the devices group, and is designed to encourage continuous improvement in the way Pfizer delivers medicines to patients.
As part of the 'Biotech Boom' in the Cambridge area, Granta Park has developed as a key location for companies working in the healthcare field. Other companies on the site include UCB, Gilead, Cambridge Antibody Technology and Alizyme.
About the area
One of the busiest tourist spots in the country with over three million visitors a year, Cambridge is also famously home to one of the world's most prestigious universities, which is itself a source of much of that tourism and only a short drive away from Granta Park. With some colleges dating back to the eleventh century and all forms of architecture represented, Cambridge is a jewel to anyone interested in British history. For those of you interested in social and leisure activities, the theatres, bars and restaurants of the city are only a short distance away too.
